Nice!

First of all I like it though there are some parts that are not quite good. At first listening anyone can notice the brass (or whatever it was). It just sounds kinda generic. Try another instrument or make this instrument complete synth (think it would sound better). The second and most importatnt part is the fast ending in the piano... I mean c'mon can't you add something else to extend it a little? Some more instruments (more strings, woodwinds, drums)? I give it 4/5 because there's future in this melody and hope that you can make it better.

Ambrossys responds:

Sorry dude, but it's Work in Progress... that explains the heavy speed ending.

But thanks for the review, I'll work on the brass.
EDIT: Replaced the brass with flutes

Nice

The first few seconds I was prepeared for 4 min melancholic piece but it hit me. Though at two places in the song I've expecting to hear the speed up rythm of Requiem of The Dream because the violins actually play the Requiem's melody. Still this is nice peace.

I give it high score because I like it but it's not it's actual score and you should know it... I suppose. Keep it up, mate!

Sycross responds:

Thanks.

The strings do play a melody very similar to Requiem for a Dream's "Lux Aeterna," but the two melodies are not identical.

Not quite sure what you meant in your last sentence, but thanks for the 10!

Dark Epic!

Loops good but with a click which may not be as good as it should.
Still... I like the piece... it's not so creepy dark as Lady Arenic's piece but it's about the epic part. I like the beginning of the song it's powerful. Hail!

10/10 (a clicked loop won't make me vote for less than you desirve)
5/5

Super, Mega, Cool

Ambient sound to the maximum! Hail!
Totally odd. Good work, Lady Arsenic.

10/10
5/5

MaestroRage responds:

Thank you, thank you! I was trying to make something creepily ambient, so I must've done exactly what I was told! Thanks for listening!

Absolute beauty

Lady Arsenic has such beautiful voice. The "melody" is actually very nice created ambience. I like Renaissense music it's so calming. Using ambient background is really good. And you say you didn't took part in creating this stuff or what? Anyway the song is really nice. I like it.

PS: I'm even hooked to time lyrics for uploding it at the server of MiniLyrics (if you don't mind of course). I really like the song I tell you.

MaestroRage responds:

-^ ^- Awww, thank you. I'm glad to know I still have it, even though I don't have any more singing classes. I too am a huge fan of Renaissance pieces. They always have such original ideas in their melodies. Simplicity is the key, really. True, Ragey did put the thunderstorm in there, but because I asked him to. My sister, the one I made this for, loves thunderstorms. I had it in mind when I requested it. ^_^ Thank you for listening though!

Nice Theme

If you vary the theme a bit, add some conflicts and louder drums it could be an epic piece. Making some other stuff like a piano madley only or other songs upon this one (even elctro and rock styles but with instruments softer that the Orchestra). You could come up with hole RPG soundtrack.

KTRECORDS responds:

I've thought about maybe doing some spinoffs of the song. I don't think I would have the time tod o that though. Josh and I have other projects that we have to do for other people now, so most of our creative energy is probably going to go towards those now. Maybe someday in the future though! Thx!

Great song!

But your solo guitar reminds me of the Slayer - kind of synthetic. The drums at the begining sound sythetic too but after the appearence of the rythm guitar they sound much better (covered by it). Is there any bass guitar? I didn't hear any. It would be nice if you put one. It will make the sound more stable
I'm sorry but I can't vote above 4. May be in later versions...

VincentVardia responds:

there is no bass thus far... seemed too heavy for the song, trying to fit one in though. The drums were made using fl studio 8's FPC so that's probably why the drums sounded that way. The guitars used were slayer 2 and again that's probably explains why they sound the way they do. Thanks for the review.

Cool, man!

Do you use program or a real instruments? If it's a program I think it's FL studio.
And now for the real review. It's alright though on some places I didn't like the bass, but still this won't affect my votes 5/5 and 10/10.

Twist responds:

I have a bass and guitar "program", and I tell them to play X at Y. It's easier to use than it sounds, what was harder was getting the other instruments to synch up right. Thanks for the review man!

Have No Words

LOL Dan! The song is very impressive. I don't have words to say how much I love this track. I loved with the first acords til the end. I think there's no other song like this - one of a kind. It's beautiful!!!
This duet in the end is just brilliant. The most impressing part of the song.
Keep going like this. You're the best

MilkMan-Dan responds:

Glad you liked the "Duet", although I never really thought about it as a duet in terms... but I guess it kinda is. Great stuff mate.

Thanks for the review.
